Book of the week – Peepo Baby by Georgie Birkett

 
Luath hasn’t really had a book of the week for a while.  She still loves books but seems to be going through a phase of books only being read once.  There are a few books that are short term favourites but she has some books that she consistently returns to.  This week she asked for her first ever book favourite to be read - Peepo Baby  by Georgie Birkett. She received it in her baby Bookbug bag at 16 weeks old, so we have been reading it for a long time.  Luath, daddy and I still enjoy this colourful simple board book.

Each double page has a large flap behind which something is hiding.  “Whose that splashing in the bath?”.  “Peepo duck, you make me laugh”.  The flaps are easy for someone young to hold and there are lots to look in the illustrations.
