Outdoor play – washing dishes

Luath decided to start washing dishes (a plant pot saucer) in her paddling pool.  As she seemed very involved I asked if she would like some washing up liquid and a sponge.  A big yes.  I gave her the almost full bottle of cheap washing up liquid I had bought for bubbles but had discovered it made very poor bubbles. I brought her out a sponge and more things to wash.

Luath started with her normal clothes on but as the weather was hot we switched into swimwear.   Luath had a very long play session.  We stopped for a late lunch and then return. I actually stopped her so we could go indoors as the weather was getting too hot.

She loved pouring out the liquid – the bottle was refilled with soapy water from the paddling pool.

The bubbles do make the paddling pool base very slippy but as I knew it was unlikely Luath would want into the pool it didn't matter.
