This post covers a two week period. We had a few days of tot school based on Little Miss Muffet nursery rhyme followed by lots of life school while we were staying with my parents. I picked Little Miss Muffet because Luath has started to sit on a little wooden step stool that we have - it reminds my husband of the old ladies from where he grew up on their morning walks, who used to stop at peoples houses, sit on a step/wall for a chat, then go on their way, especially as Luath will sit down and say "aye aye", which is exactly what these women used to say!
We recited Little Miss Muffet. Luath enjoyed sitting on her tuffet, waiting for us to bring her spider along and then she would run off. Sometimes she would run off with the spider, sometimes before the spider arrived.
We read "Arggh spider" and sang "incy wincy spider", both big favourites of Luath.
I helped Luath make a spider from playdough and straws.

Life School
The sun came out and we had some very warm summery weather for almost a week which really made our time at my parents feel like a holiday, it was a shame that we had to leave daddy at home.
Some learning with grandma's great charity shop toy finds. Luath can now say and knows triangle and circle, still working on square.
Luath enjoyed time on the beach - in the haze and the sun (just need to upload the sunny photos!)
Having picnics.
Being in a paddling pool with her cousin.
Taking baths outdoors.
Going for walks in new places.
Being with her family, especially spending time with her cousin.
