Organising clothes

Luath has a fantastic clothes collection.  Almost all her clothes are secondhand.  Some from friends, some from family and some sourced by me or my mum.  I am enjoying the fact that she can now wear clothes over a longer period of time and really get the most out of all her outfits.

However all these clothes can get a bit confusing in the drawers.  I saw an idea on Chasing Cheerios blog a while back, a post about how her mum had been on an organising course and had sorted out the girl's clothes drawers.  So my treat to myself on Mother's Day was to spend a short time refolding Luath's clothes so they are piled side-by-side vertically rather than on top of each other.

Wow, so simple, but what a difference. It makes me feel like we are respecting the clothes now and appreciating the kindness of there gift to Luath.  It saves so much time too.

A bit difficult to get a good photo, this is looking down from above

Next clothes aim is to have somewhere to have a daily two outfit option for Luath to select from (once she is ready) and also some sort of dressing station for her when she starts to dress herself.  We are planning on getting some new cupboards/drawers that she can open herself.  Currently she has my drawers and it will be nice for me to have them back!
