This was actually a present from my mum to my husband (belated birthday presents that we had forgotten to take home last time we visited my parents). Another of her great charity shop finds.
It is a story of a spider who wants to be a family's pet. She tried to show them why she would be a good pet, but each time the response is "Aaarrgghhh spider, out you go!". Luath loves this book, and joins in with the Aarrghh and says go.
There is some pretty sparkly webs near the end and a funny/scary ending, depending on how scary you find spiders.
