Luath’s favourite ongoing book is The Gingerbread Man or boy (depending on which book we read) and has been her book of the week before. This week we read lots of books and told many stories but with no tale favoured over another. Luath has began retelling (without a book) or “reading” some stories. This week she loved snuggling up on a new sofa bed we had delivered and is currently awaiting full assembly. She would get a cushion, blanket, at least one guy (a soft toy), and at times something like a ball or plane) and say she was going to read to them or me. Most often her book choice was The Gingerbread Man.
We have made Gingerbread story stones and did an experiment to see what would happen if he got wet crossing the river.
