Welly walking - sand

Following on from Luath's first walk in wellies on grass, today she tried out her wellies on sand. She was very unsure, tending to stand still.  She actually let me help her walk (by holding her around the middle).  Luath has never wanted any help with her walking, she just decided one day she was walking and that was that, no walking between people, holding hands and very little along furniture.

She enjoyed watching the dog dig a hole in the sand.  After a little while Luath ended up falling onto her bottom and that was when her real fun started.  Oooh sand.  She was on a beach picnic when she was 6 months old but since then she hasn't been so up close with any sand.  She played for a while, not once trying to eat it (I am amazed at that) and we only stopped as I thought it was a bit chilly for her to be sitting too long in the sand, although I am sure she was fine as her cloth nappy gives plenty of insulated padding.

Someone had made a heart out of stones and shells.  It had got slightly disturb and the dog did a bit more disturbing but it still looked pretty.
