| if it wisnae for my wellies |
My parent's have a nice flat piece of grass, so mum, me and Luath all went out for an adventure. Luath had a couple of stumbles but got the hang of it quickly. She loved going under the washing line poles (much more fun that a whirly washing pole for going under and in/out), marching her feet and making a squelchy sound on the wet grass, debating about bending down to touch the muddy flower beds (she decided not to) and the experience of a gentle tumble onto damp grass. She was just about reaching her enough point, when my dad came outside and she got a second wind, almost running towards him and then showing him what she was up to.
Such a simple activity, but what joy it brought the four of us. Wonder how long until we can splash in puddles together?

What a lovely post - I remember J's first outing with wellies - his feet were so small that he had to have 3 pairs of socks on to fit in them as they don't do boys wellies in size 3's in the UK but they do do girls!!!

We struggled to find size 4 wellies, they are a little too long but a good width. She is getting used to them
