Outdoors all year round - 7days7ways

This week's 7days7ways to add a little more to our outdoor time:
(I didn't take many photos this week)
Day1. Look for monsters in the loch

OK not really a monster, it's the dog swimming
Day 2.  Plant some potatoes.

Day 3.  Splashing in puddles - we had a slow walk to the bus, stopping for some splashing in shallow puddles

Day 4.  Investigate daisies - we had time before a dental appointment to have a wander in a small patch of grass and spent time looking and touching daisies

Day 5.  Kick leaves - both grandma and grandad had fun  showing Luath how to kick leaves (a tough skill for her)
Day 6. Tulips and daffodils - after Bookbugs we went to see the flowers, smelling, touching and talking about the tulips and daffodils.  We also checked out the leaves.  There was some loose petals that were fun to throw in the air.

Day 7. Moss and ferns - Luath picked up a few different types of moss and was interested in touching fern fronds.  We do the same walk often and  we always see something new, often Luath led.

Background:
I read about famiglia&seoul's 365days outdoor challenge she set herself after reading Rebecca P. Cohen's Fifteen Minutes Outside: 365 Ways to Get Out of the House and Connect with Your Kids (you can get 50 ideas via Rebecca's blog if you sign up) and I also have read Greening Sam and Avery's everyday outdoor play resolution and I decided to do the same.  Simple things to get more out of our outdoor time (we already are out most days dog walking) and to try and be outdoors everyday (some days it is so wild daddy walks the dog, but we will try and go outside for a little while).

(Luath is 15months)
